Aireys Inlet Open Mic Music Festival report

The inaugural Aireys Inlet Open Mic Festival has been underway this weekend with a strong turnout, especially during the night programs. Featuring more than 60 local performers of all ages, organiser Marty Maher is thrilled with the support shown for this initiative being held in two venues at the Aireys Inlet Hotel and one at restaurant A La Greque.

The range of musical styles and depth of talent shown by the performers confirms that The Surfcoast and local region remains a hot-bed of musical talent. It's great that someone has had the passion to make this event happen. Hopefully it will continue next year. Keep an eye on their website and stick your name down for next year's event.
