Turramurra Music Camp

I've just returned from the 24th annual Turramurra Folk Music camp with more than five hours of recording from the Sunday concert.

Hopefully I'll have a chance to write up something more substantial, but in the meantime I'll be slicing and dicing the recording for the State Library archives and making them available to those who want a copy.

I'll put some podcast highlights as they come to hand.

Slim's Soap Box makes it to the OzPolitics Blogroll

Slim moved his Soap Box blog over to a Wordpress site back in October.

His occasional rantings have slowly attracted some passing trade as he lurks around the Australian political scene.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year folks! I hope you all had a good one.

There’s nothing like the New Year weekend in Lorne – the full range of crassness, thoughtlessness, and stupidity that humans can muster.

On Wednesday The Cornhuskers are recording live in Yardup’s loungeroom. Should be interesting. Stay tuned for some pre-release samples.

Next weekend Chips, Slim and the boys are off for a week of R’n’ R camping and picking in Bournda.

Cheers!
