At short notice High & Lonesome will be playing Irish Murphys this Sunday evening after the session - a change from our usual Thursday night spot. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces and fans of those who can't make it on Thursdays.

The inaugural Aireys Inlet Open Mic Festival has been underway this weekend with a strong turnout, especially during the night programs. Featuring more than 60 local performers of all ages, organiser Marty Maher is thrilled with the support shown for this initiative being held in two venues at the Aireys Inlet Hotel and one at restaurant A La Greque.

The range of musical styles and depth of talent shown by the performers confirms that The Surfcoast and local region remains a hot-bed of musical talent.
