Ten years ago, Bill Monroe - the father of bluegrass music - was borne to his final resting place not far from where he was born and raised in the Ohio County, Kentucky, town of Rosine.

Bill Monroe developed the style of music known as bluegrass, which takes its name from his band, the "Blue Grass Boys," named for his home state of Kentucky.  read more »
