What a scorcher – three days of high 30s heatwave. But it didn't deter the usual crowd of enthusiastic campers keen for a weekend of hillbilly mayhem at Camp Eureka near Yarra Junction in Victoria.
The High & Lonesome boys were somewhat behind the eight ball, having played a gig the night before the camp, but we had some quiet camp site sessions with our younger lads, a somewhat rowdier Friday late night session in the main hall, and a fantastic session with people from Ad Hoc, Red and The Horny Toads. Check out the accompanying recording of Psycho Killer from the Saturday night session – a riotous assembly of players and enthusiastic audience at Herc's camp site.
