We're all prayed up...

Cornhuskers Maldon

And ready to play at Maldon

The count-down is on for the Corn Huskers' debut at this weekend's Maldon Folk Festival in Victoria's gold fields district.

We had a run through the set list on Sunday afternoon at Mr Spiller's. Jess made some fantastic lunch for us all and kept the little ones a safe distance from the banjo.

The string band sound is coming together really well, thanks to Yardup's ear for arrangements. We'll polish it up one more time on Wednesday and then hit our straps as the opening act at the main venue in town, the Maldon Hotel.

We play on the vintage train run from Maldon to Castlemaine on Sunday from 10.00 am to midday-ish and finish off with the Troubadour Wine Tent at Tarrangower Reserve Festival site on Monday at 11.00 am.

You'll likely find Slim, Chips and Rhino playing on the streets or in the pub sessions in between times.
